I have been moderating writing in KS 1 and KS2 for a number of years, intially as Salford’s English consultant and now as a freelance practitioner. I am currently a KS2 moderator for Manchester and lead a number of clusters of schools with their moderation in every year group. I also lead moderating training at Madeleine Lindley Book Centre, Oldham with Maddy Barnes and train Knowsley teachers through the Teacher’s Alliance.
